No rest for Martinez Sanchez
Following the single final it was time for the doubles final of the Collector Swedish Open Women. Team Pennetta/Dulko earned their second doubles title this year by defeating Llagostera Vives/Martinez Sanchez 6-2, 0-6, 10-5.
Just as in Bogotá earlier this year Martinez Sanchez had the opportunity to win both the doubles and the singles tournament. In fact she and Llagostera Vives faced Pennetta/Dulko in Bogotá as well. But this time Pennetta and Dulko was out for revenge and they refused to lose in the deciding supertiebreak.
The second seeded duo lifted their second doubles trophy of 2009, and played some great tennis.
