Tough Wednesday for Johanna and Sofia

Today will be a busy tennis program with many interesting matches, especially from a Swedish perspective. Both Johanna Larsson and Sofia Arvidsson set out on center court, with the bar being raised from their first rounds.
Johanna is the first match on against fourth seeded Russian Vera Dushevina, who on paper is the favorite for the match. Dushevina has not played the Collector Swedish Open before but was in the final of the Nordic Light Open in Stockholm in both 2007 and 2008.
- We have never played a match before but I've trained with her and then we played points, so I know it will be tough, said Johanna for today's task.
Sofia Arvidsson has never met a world number one, but she will have to tonight. She will be meeting Caroline Wozniacki for the final match of the day starting not before 17.00. They have met five times previously, before Wozniacki made it to first place in the world ranking with a score of 4-1 going the Dane's way. Sofia told us before the game that she hopes to have learnt from her mistakes in the past and sees it as a challenge to meet Wozniacki at home.
Caroline is also looking forward to meet Sophia.
- She’s an amazing girl. We train a lot together and this will be fun. Båstad is of course close to Denmark, so I look forward to much audience away. It becomes a bit like playing at home for both of us, said the Dane.
Several other big names are on the schedule for the day, with last year's winner, Aravane Rezai, second seeded Flavia Pennetta and the 2009 winner, Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez.
