Caroline and Eric at sunset

On Tuesday, it's finally time for the spotlight to light up center court. But before that, there are many games to look forward to.

Our Swedish hope, Sofia Arvidsson will meet the 110-ranked Andrea Hlavackova (CZE) in their opening game. Sofia said in an earlier interview that it will be a tough match against Hlavackova who won the doubles in the French Open. They have met once before (2007) and Sofia won 6-3, 6-3.

Second seed Flavia Pennetta, world number one in doubles, plays in Båstad for the third year. She has been in two semi-finals for singles and has had two doubles wins with Gisela Dulko, the previous years. On Tuesday, she meets Australian Olivia Rogowska which should place Flavia as the big favorite .

Anna Brazhnikova also makes her debut to the tournament coming up against a challenge from a more experienced Angelique Kerber of Germany, who is ranked 100 in the world.

As the sun begins to dimmer it is time for tonight's big event, Sunset Tennis. The evening's presenter welcomes Eric Saade to center court, followed closely by Johanna Larsson and Sofia Arvidsson, which will be their first double of the tournament . Then more entertainment from Eric Saade before the world number one makes her appearance. Caroline Wozniacki v Alize Cornet will be an exciting round up from a busy day of tennis .
