Tough day for Swedish interests
Opening day at the Swedish Open WTA came with upsets for the home players.

Cornelia Lister, of Sweden, played first match on center court today. The doubles specialist got a wild card to the singles tournament but could not upset Ekaterine Gorgodze who won 6-3 6-2.
Top seeds Johanna Larsson and Lara Arruabarrena was upset by Alison Bai and Elixane Lechemia in the first round of doubles. Bai / Lechemia won 6-4 3-6 10-7.
Aleksandra Krunic of Serbia faced young talent Caijsa Hennemann. Hennemann who debuted today on the WTA tour faced defeat but earned respect when loosing 6-3 6-1.
The champion of 2014, Mona Barthel, turned her match around against Andrea Gamiz winning 3-6 7-5 6-3.
We also add Danka Kovinic to the winners defeating Dalma Galfi 6-3 5-7 6-1.
